Gaping Heads
These guys began life as prototypes for a set of speaker covers. They went on on to be distribution kiosks for the Somerville Open Studios. I use them to hold mail, or they can just sit in front of the television and gape.

Each is hand-carved and is therefore an individual. Which makes it fun.

Theater Seats

By the way, these guys are sitting in a set of theater seats that were saved from an untimely demise. If you happen to find a set of your own, they're easy to recover in your own choice of fabrics. Do it yourself — don't pay for professional upholstering.
